Description :
The resulting epoxytriene, 14,15-LTA4, can be converted to 14,15-LTC4, as demonstrated in sheep uterus and RBL-1 cells. Although many of the physiological actions of 14,15-LTC4 remain to be elucidated, it has been shown to have weak contractile activity on both guinea pig ileum and pulmonary parenchyma.
