Chymotrypsin: Usage & Dosage

1). Usually 4000 U once, the chymotrypsin is dissolved in 5 ml of sodium chloride injection before use.
2). Ocular administration: used in ophthalmology as an enzymatic decomposition of the lens suspensory ligament, dissolved in chymotrypsin by sodium chloride injection, formulated into 1:5000 solution, injected into the posterior chamber from the pupil, after 2 to 3 minutes, floating in the crystal After washing with sodium chloride injection, the lens can be removed.
3). Spray inhalation: used for liquefying sputum, can be made into a 0.05% solution to atomize and inhale.
4). Local injection: (1) In the treatment of soft tissue inflammation or trauma, a solution of chymotrypsin 800 U (1 mg) dissolved in 1 ml of physiological sodium chloride solution may be partially injected into the wound. (2) Venomous snake bites, chymotrypsin 10 ~ 20mg, each diluted with 4ml of water for injection, infiltrated around the snake tooth mark, and injected 2 needles in the center of the wound, and then 3cm above the swelling The ring is closed in 1 to 2 layers, and according to different parts, 0.3 to 0.7 ml per needle, at least 10 needles, and at most 26 needles.
5). External use: (1) Acne vulgaris, chymotrypsin topically applied, 2 times a day. (2) Chronic skin ulcer, chymotrypsin (400μg/ml) aqueous solution, wet wound, 1~2h each time.
