Sumatriptan is the brand name for sumatriptan, a prescription medicine used to treat migraine headaches in adults.
Some of the side effects of Sumatriptan are serious. Call your doctor right away if you experience any of the following:
Changes in the sensation or color of fingers or toes (Raynaud's syndrome)
Bloody diarrhea, constipation, nausea, vomiting, severe stomach pain
Cramping, pain, tingling in legs, hips, leg muscles, feet, toes
Hives, swelling of tongue, throat, oral area
Mental changes, hallucinations, high temperature
Chest pain
Stiffness in neck, jaw
