Legend about chamomile

Chamomile is called "noble flower" in Latin. It is called "Apple Fairy" in ancient Greece. The Egyptians dedicated chamomile to the sun and praised it as a god grass. It is used as a treatment for neuropathic pain. The treatment of snake bites with chamomile in Roman times is the basic common sense of the people. Chamomile is divided into two types due to different origins and different functions: Roman chamomile and German chamomile. German chamomile is a beautiful sky blue, better than Roman chamomile. Its leaves have apple sweetness and warm grassy wood, flowers have apple aroma and are bright green,  flowers are golden yellow. When picking dried flowers, the color is not too deep, the leaves are intact, and the dry and non-moist is better.

What is chamomile extract?

The active ingredient apigenin in chamomile extract belongs to flavonoids and has anti-oxidation, anti-angiogenesis, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and anti-viral effects. Apigenin can inhibit the carcinogenic activity of carcinogens. It can be used as an antiviral drug for the treatment of HIV and other viral infections. Apigenin is also an inhibitor of MAP kinase. Compared with other flavonoids (quercetin, kaempferol), apigenin has low toxicity and no mutagenicity.
